Wing 1: Spirit Vale (Heart of Thorns)
Requirements
- A build and a general idea how it works. A beginner one such as those from Snowcrows with exotic stats is fine.
- Basic preparation so you know what to expect: Wiki / Mukluk video guide / Hardstuck written guide.
- Follow commander/instructor. Don't run ahead and unless instructed otherwise stay on tag.
Special Roles
- Toughness tank for Vale Guardian and Gorseval.
- Flak kite for Sabetha.
- Two dps players for cannons at Sabetha.
- Two condi dps for red guardian.
Notes
- If you use Blish there is a module with timers for the cannons at Sabetha.
- Alternatively, there is a timer website - start on ready check and it will give voice hints where to go/throw bomb at.
Summary
RGB Guardians- Try to kill one by one.
- Red - only takes condi damage and spawns red seekers that have to be pushed away from squad.
- Blue - requires initial boonstrip and spawns green aoes - stack inside when close, outheal when far.
- Green - spawns blue fields that teleports to random location - walk out on sound cue or yellow screeen border.
- Tank moves boss to arrow marker, squad stacks behind it.
- Take care of seekers, green aoes, and teleport fields as described above.
- 66% boss disappears, RGB guardians come back - go to red if condi, otherwise blue. Tank brings green to blue.
- Boss returns with new mechanic: parts of the arena will start to glow and deal damage. Switch between left and right side of arrow marker.
- 33% boss disappears, RGB guardians come back - see above.
- Boss returns, larger parts of the arena will start to glow and deal damage. Tank moves boss around clockwise, squad follows.
- Spectral Rifts - quickly capture the circles while clearing the enemies in range.
- Spirit Race - dps run through each circle but keep going until you reach wall. Destroy wall and repeat. Watch out for the gliding part. Healers stay in each circle to complete capturing it.
- Cemetery - find and stand on the pressure plates to open the gate.
